I was visiting my close cousin Elia and her family for dinner when I observed a beautiful vase bursting with Tulips. Admiring the colorful bulbs blooming, accented by the way the leaves lay scattered around the vase, I knew it would make a lovely still-life painting. I named it "Elia's Tulips" as they and the beauty of the moment belonged to her.
